Introducing myself

Well I started losing weight about a year ago in Feb of '05.
I was at a robust 320lbs, and I made it to 238lbs by August of that year.

My plan was pretty simple; it was 1600 calories per day , 60min on a cross trainer three times per week, and one gallon of water per day .

I originally wanted to get down to possibly 195 lbs which I think is my *ideal* weight.

I moved to second shift which diet/exersize mor difficult for me, and I gained some of it back and I'm now up to 265lbs which sucks.
But a 24hr gym opened up in my area, so I just started back on my diet again.

But this time around, I want to know what I can do about the exess skin that doens't involve plastic surgery.
 
Good plan - the simpler the plan, the less room for things to go wrong.

Cold water showers ae one thing I can think of that has a thigtening efect on skin. There are supposedly some products for tight skin, but I don't have any details. Aside from that, what is your age? If you are a young dude, the excess skin will shrink by itself.

I'm 24, and I already have some loose skin around the abdomen, and the thighs.

I could try the cold showers, how often should I do them?

sorry for the late response.

A note for the cold showers - build up to them gradually. You don't want to catch a cold. Alternate watm water and cold water showers. Also, at first, do not shower only with the cold water tap on. Mix in some warm water and gradually decrease the warm water.

Be sure not to cold shower your head, it's not good for your health.

I think you can just end you morning shower session with several wamr and cold showers. I'll have to get back to you on that after I check to make sure waht the best frequency for these showers is.

Lastly, it is not a miracle solution, but will definetely freshen and tighten your skin.

As for your age - you are a young guy and the results that you can achieve are limitless - look at the guy I posted about. He's the same age.
