Hello everyone! This is my first journal entry and I'm happy to say that already since I began my journey to lose weight (just a little over a week ago.. friday september 11th to be exact) I have lost 5 pounds!!! Once I stepped on the scale and saw 155.8 I KNEW I had to buckle down and take control before I let go completely!! Today I am 150.6 and feeling great about it! I have been working out every morning and it's really boosting my confidence already. It just makes me feel better about myself and makes my day SO much better! My goal is to get to at LEAST 135. But we'll see, maybe I can do better than that
As far as eating goes... I'm really eating the same things that I usually do, but I'm trying to eat a little healthier AND I'm keeping very close track to my calories. I'm shooting for 1,500 a day but somedays I come up short, some days I go over. But I know it's making a difference because I can guarantee you that when I wasn't counting, I was probably having around 3,000 a day!
My workouts so far are just tredmil (interval training - 1 minute running as fast as i can, 1 minute walking, keep switching off 10-15 times) and cross trainer (like an elliptical but has an incline and resistance options). I also lift some weights and do some crunches but I'm just starting so I hope to have more intense work outs as I go on!
Leave me some love!! Cheer me on!!!
I love hearing all of your stories they are truly inspiring!
