inner chest

Inner chest? Whats the inner chest? There are pectoralis major and minor. Why do you need focus on this area?

Close grip bench targets the triceps more.

If you don't have an "inner pec", you are simply lacking chest mass...

Don't look at it as pieces...look at it as whole. If you are lacking mass all over (which I am guessing you are), then don't worry about your "inner pec" or your "outer pecs". You need MASS! Period.

its the pectoral minor, my major is the only thing thats getting huge. i have a bird chest..lol

Newbody,
The pec minor is located UNDER the pec major...you can't even see it. It aids in shoulder extension and horizontal abduction. Hence its name, "minor", it is not a huge muscle--therefore, it really doesn't get big.

Go with Cynic's suggestion and get the "Strength Training Anatomy" book. We are just trying to help.

If you're talking about the gap in between your pecs, you have to realize that the reason behind the seperation is because the muscles are connected by tendons to the bone. You can't make your tendons bigger to fill this gap. If you have a cereal bowl chest, it's genetics. The way you can try to counter act this is by varying your pec exercises. Try cable chest flies and db flies.

Yes, DB flies would do you well. Also, try crossing ur arms around ur stomach and flex ur chest, u'll see the 'inner' chest ur talking about well. But as the others have been saying, to get that visable all the time, add mass all over.
