injury?

okay.. so today i was doing legs and my 1st excerise is squats (free weight)

165 x 15
185 x 12
205 x 12
225 x 10
245 x 10
295 x 8

ok as you can guess.. 295 gave me a problem on my 7th rep my hole mody was trembling so i went for another rep and there was a lot more trembling around my midle torso.. 5 mins after i was done i had truble breathing.. felt like my lung had collapsed.. i sat down for few mins and it didnt help so i went on with the rest of my leg routine it was still hurting but i could still do legs fine.. then i tried to do calf raisers.. felt liek my body was ready to snap in half.
so i went on and did abs and biceps (in order to get a good pump to show off to the girl i was tanning with later) i sat down again and i could feel my left chest thumping.. like when my heart beated.. it hurt..
then when i got home i was talking on the phone and it hurts not in my chest anymore but in my upper left back..
i think i crushed something in my left upper portion of my body.. >_< but im not sure how bad it is.. anyone ever experience somthing like this? or have any idea wut the hell i should do?
hopefully ill be able to get up tomorow and play some touch football with my gym buddies :-/
 
What kind of squats is that?
 
Very odd set progression to say the least. 295 for 8reps is a rather large squat for someone your size.

I never experienced it, see how you feel in a few days.
 
ok one when you do something like that and it involves respiratory, or cardiac, esp the later the first thing you do is stop and sit down. i have a few ??'s for you though but i'm going to pm you with them if its still bothering you.
 
ok so basing on that i have no other info from you i would say you have done something to the dermatones that run through the lower cervical region or the upper thoraic region- this would explain the weird symptoms. depending where you hold the bar i would say you have pinched one of the nerves at its base close to the spine hence the areas its affecting if you don't feel better and i mean totally better i would go get an xray of you cervical spine to rule it out. hopefully the damage is min and not perment but i can't tell with such little info. if you were my pt. you would have a c collar on pronto. if you just pinched the nerve and the effects are completely resolved i would say lucky you and pad the bar next time you plan on going that heavy or re adjust where you hold it. was your form right bang on ???
 
i had a pad there.. my form is great :-D i never hurt myself b4.. ill see a doctor on tusday; if its not any better. i surely hope its min. i guess ill have to wait till i get to squat 315 :-/ i was hoping to be abel to do it next week but i guess not.
