Incorrect password messages

For the past week I keep getting a message saying I'm entering an incorrect password when I'm clearly not. I thought last week that my account might have been hacked but it seems I can log in fine if I use a proxy server.
My IP isn't blocked though as sometimes I can log in normally but other times I can't, it's like my IP is blocked for an hour or two a day.

I think Leiyunfat is having the same issue as he's also been unable to login normally so it isn't something at my end and has to be a site issue

I've tried the usual stuff like clearing my cache but it doesn't help at all.
 
I have been completely unable to log in! Despite resetting my password a million times. I have now signed on with another identity. I would like my old account though. Any help on this?
 
I asked Allcdnboy and he seems to have had a few problems too and it might be a problem affecting those using IE. I'm having to login using a proxy server
 
I don't know what a proxy server is... ??? Can you tell me? I am not computer savvy so hopefully it doesn't require any expertise or patience. I lack both in that area. Ha
 
I'm using but there are many others which you can find by Googling 'free proxy server'

It makes the site slow to use and doesn't always display all graphics correctly though
 
OK. What I did was download the Firefox thing. I hate IE anyway so I guess it is a good thing. Thanks for your help! I did try that proxy thing but they wouldn't let me on STILL. Ugh. I don't know why IE is always making updates. They just mess things up when they do. :(

firefox is a better web browser anyway :) It is also more secure, so you did yourself a favor....lol :D

True dat! I do like it but I had all my little toolbars like I wanted them so it will take some brain power to get it in the pleasing style again. haha. I think there are good new add ons available though so once I get adjusted it will be for the best!

Like google toolbar? yeah, Firefox has a lot of great add ons to make it easy, and hell, nothing like tab browsing! Once you get all arranged the only difference you'll notice is how much better it is....lol :)

I use Safari because I have a mac, and it works great, but when I had a PC I used Firefox......
 
I had problems over the weekend where I would copy past my login and "new" password from the email the forums sent and not login. Today is the first day I could get in.
 
one of our ad companies f'd up their code and broke vBulletin. I disabled their ads and then posted it to vBulletin's website as 100s of others were having the same problem.
