Well, here is me on New Years Eve (December 31, 2007). I'm the one on the right, and yes I'd like to point out I'm extremely intoxicated.

Cutting down on that though, trust me!

In fact, despite no lifestyle changes in 2007 I think I look (to an extent) more healthier from this January 2007 photo:

kinda not cool that u already have to cut back on drinking at 18
 
I drank alot of alcohol, didnt lose any weight. Stopped drinking, here I am n have lost bout 8lb since I stopped.
 
The beer will pack it on :( Even after having two kids I never got the belly I have now til I started drinking beer on a regular basis. But, beer's the same as anything else.. just extra calories you need to burn. If you can fit it into your daily calorie allowance- great. The problem, especially at your age when you're out partying w/ friends, is binge drinking. You'll consume way too many calories among the other obvious negatives.
I'm losing weight & I still drink beer, not the low carb kind either. But it's probably a better choice if you can stand it.

I do think you thinner/healthier in the latest pic, btw.
