Hi everyone! Just here to introduce myself. I'm 29, female, married, and live in the midwest. (One of them cold states. Brrrr.)
My highest weight was 195 about 3 years ago. I have been back on the weight loss wagon for about a month and a half now. It is going slooooowly. I'm alright with slow; I'm just trying to keep motivated while the scale plods along. I'm 5'6", currently around 170 lbs. and my goal is 140.
I changed to a mostly vegan diet about a year and a half ago (not to lose weight) and at first I ate REALLY healthy. The pounds melted away. I was down to 155 about a year ago. I then transitioned to a fairly unhealthy vegan diet (yes, it's possible), and gained back about twenty pounds. I am now trying to switch back to super healthy (mostly) vegan. I am also working out on a regular basis. Even though I have been much thinner, I have never been athletic or fit. I could never run the mile in gym class. I really hope to change that.
My short term fitness goals are to be able to run one mile, non stop and to be able to do one perfect, not on my knees pushup. Long term I would like to be able to run 5K, do a dive-bomber push-up and be able to do a pull-up. It's looking pretty LONG term right now. *laugh*
