I'm Just Trying to Be Happy

I can so relate to your situation, and I feel awful for you! I did that for three years, and we had three busy seasons to deal with! At least your hours are somewhat regulated, and you know what to expect. My biggest struggle with my job was the unpredictability. My birthday is March 4, and one year I worked til 8, the next year I worked til past midnight, and last year they were worried about keeping me somewhat happy so they MADE me go home at seven even though I had a zillion things to do. Which ended up stressing me out even more, to the point that instead of going out to a nice dinner I ended up crying on my drive home and requesting my ultimate comfort food – buffalo chicken pizza from the sub shop down the street. Anyway, hang in there! Know that the end, even though it’s far away, is in sight! And make sure you stay at your parents’ house if you need to! I remember having such trouble staying awake on the drive in sometimes because I was so exhausted. Stop and go traffic was a nightmare, I just wanted to bad to close my eyes.

Thanks guys. I'm making this quick because I have to leave for work, but just wanted to stop in and thank you for your sympathies! Last night I finished my last appointment really quickly since it was a simple return so I got home around 8:30. I went to bed a few minutes before 10:00, so at least a got a little extra sleep. I will try to catch up with everyone's diaries over the weekend.

Oh, and today is my wedding anniversary! 3 years!!! :beating: And on Feb 28th we will be celebrating 10 years together. We started dating when I was 15 and he was 18. Good thing he was a good guy or my parents would not have been happy about that, lol.
