Day one.

I currently live with someone who buys the food and I have no say in this because I currently don't have a job. With that said we don't have any "overly bad for you foods" and I'm trying to eat healthy with what I have. I'm back to day one again........... Last night I laied down and couldn't breath and thought to myself holy crap you are fat... You need to loose weight or you will never be healthy. I know I'm fat and I know others know I'm fat. I will never find anyone to spend the rest of my life with if I continue on this path. I want to have a baby I want to be healthy and that just won't happen if I'm this fat...

Today I started on my exercise program of my own making. I am going to do 1-2 hours daily of dance central 2 for Xbox. And maybe run around my yard ( almost 2 acres of land) if its not to hot out... Hopefully I can start to see results soon. I get so discouraged if I don't see any.

Anyway that's my first day.

You are not alone...lots of nice folks on here to offer encouragment.
I applaud your start and day 1.....Now lets hear about day 2,3,4...
Good luck and get going!

^^ thanks. I meant alone in my family.. They all want to see me lose weight.. But don't want to help me in that journey.

Day 2
OK food choices as far as what I have to work with.. Staying under my calorie intake limit anyway. Went on the Xbox for about a hour.

I'm currently 16lbs lighter then my Highest weight.

First mini goal is 50lbs.

What is a safe amount of weight to lose in a week? 2lbs? 5 lbs? I've heard that since I am so heavy that the first 50lbs or so will come off real fast? Is that true?

For the first few weeks your gonna lose a lot of "water-weight." After that, I'd aim to lose 1-2lbs a week, to be safe. Lose that weight too fast and you'd end up gaining it all back. Good luck! I have to buy all my weight-loss food (just about) and it's been tough at times. Sad to hear that your family doesn't support you by helping out with the food, that's a bummer. :(

But, if you don't try with what you got than you will never succeed, right? Good luck on the weight loss journey and try to take it slow at first. Too much change too fast is never a good thing.

^ thanks

I'm just in a tough spot right now it will work out I'm sure.

Day 3

No breakfast.
Lunch: grilled cheese I know bad for you... But I tried to make it healthyish wheat bread as little butter as possible and low fat cheese. And a banana.
Dinner: pizza.. Lol I knowwwwwwwwww but I really love pizza and I don't eat out often.
Snack: air popped popcorn no butter or salt or anything on it at all.

Got on the Xbox again. I really enjoy dancing so to me it's not really a work out.

I did download zumba fitness. I'm going to try that soon its only a demo but its better then nothing. Annnd its been raining and thundering here for the past 4-5 days and major hot... So I can't get out to run. We are support to have thunderstorms for the next 6 days too. So nooo running yet.

Hey and welcome! It is hard when your family is buying and eating unhealthy food, but just keep in mind there are always gonna be people around you eating and/or offering you unhealthy food. Its a challenge everyday, especially in this day and age with all the food porn ads and cheap deals on crappy processed food! Just make as many good choices and few bad ones as possible. You'll become more used to eating healthy food. BTW how old are you, and what is your starting weight/goal weight? Just curious.

Good Luck on your Journey :)

I'm 26

SW:350
CW: 346 (have not weighed myself this week yet so its probably lower)
GW: 150-160 ish depending on what I feel comfortable with.

Hey just dropping in to say Hi!

Sometimes you just have to work with what you've got, so do the best you can with the food provided.
If you can do this (and you can do this!) it will only get easier when you can choose your own food!
