Hey there...


So I was wondering, having a diary definitely will help me measure where I am standing in terms of food intake and exercise.!

I posted previously that I went to a dietitian because I was just sick of the type of diets I have been doing. All of it was wrong I am sure!


It all started on Dec 5, 2008 - an amazing day - the day our first son was born! He was born by c-section and that didnt help me lose weight. After birth my weight was 84kg. I was 70kg when I got pregnant. But ----- When I got married I was 64kg! My height is 1,69m.. So i was in heaven with that weight.. I felt so gooooooooooood...

Then I got pregnant in Feb 2007 and had a miscarriage, then again in October and had another miscarriage. That's when I hit 70kg because of depression..


Now to the point, my son is 32 months and I weight 78kg - yes - I'm fat - I have high cholesterol - I feel horrible - nothing fits me - I feel so unhealthy - so unfit to do my duties - so EVERYTHING! I also feel I am the fattest in the groups of friends we have - Im even jealous from my sister in law who had a baby 6 months ago and looks the same as she did when she got pregnant! I feel I use the same clothes again and again coz nothing fits me well and I dont want to buy new ones coz I will fit into my OLD jeans! I have everything still in my cabinets, my shirts, jeans, dresses, everything of when I was 64kg :)


I keep on giving stupid reasons why I havent lost weight but I dont know, my lifestyle sucks. I had post partum depression that lasted a year and half, and then I reached 68kg one time, and then started yo yo dieting, my weight was going crazy up and down! Then my health had a spin - I tried weight loss pill after my friend told me she was taking it - made me have symptoms that until now, more than a year after has affected my health. I dont really want to go into details because its a looooooooooooong story and now I am here to make changes!!


So my first goal is to weigh 70kg. My second goal is 65 and my last and secret goal is 60kg! and if I can hit 58 I WOULD LOVE IT!


My diet consists of 6 meal plan / no sugar / low carb / has fruits, veggies / no diet coke / lot of water / 40min walk 6 times a week.

EASY! The dietitian managed to fit the food log into my schedule, so I will be eating this today as my first day.


Ah just to add that the cooking style is just using either canola or olive oil. Little salt, no butter of course, corn oil or ghee. no fries food. She gave me 8 meals ideas for lunch and exchangeable veggie and fruit list.


LETS DO THIS!!


8:30am - slice of nature Valley cereal bar + half mug of Nescafe with 2 teaspoon of coffee mate 0 fat with Splenda.


10:30am - green tea + apple


1:00pm - small piece of bread + 2 teaspoon of Greek yogurt + 2 cucumbers + 1 teaspoon of olive oil


4:00pm - 1 medium sized salad consisting of lettuce + carrot + cucumbers with 1 teaspoon of olive oil and balsamic vinegar PLUS 2 serving spoons of green beans stew + 2 serving spoons of rice + 150gr lean beef cubes


7:00pm - 1 small orange


9:30pm - 1 flavored yogurt 0% fat


Exercise : 40min walk

Just to add a note too - she told me I can lose 6kg the first month if followed as it says. :p

First day was pretty crazy. Diet was amazing, I didnt slide! But I got so tired because I took my lunch break at work to do my 40min walk! I hate it because they changed our working hours :( from 8 hours to 9 hours :(


Anyway, today is day 2. Will post what I am eating today later on!!
