I want to have perfect abs

Hi All,

I am pretty much into living a healthier life. For this I have a balanced diet and I am quite regular with walk on treadmill.

But somehow I fail to reduce weight and to shape up my abdominal area. I am 25 years old.

I am for having perfect abs. I want to get rid of the extra flab and to have a better shape. I would like help on how to go about it, whats the best step to step instruction for this?

Please guide me to exercises that will be effective and will give good results.

'perfect' abs are mostly made in the kitchen. just about any of the thousands of ab routines out there work fine. but if you're eating too much or eating the wrong stuff, you'll forever hide your abs with some fat.

Also keep in mind that abs are genetic. you may not have the genes for great abs that pop out like you see pictures of.
 
You ever notice how even a lot of really skinny guys who don't work out have a 6-pack? That's because having "nice abs" are not so much about how big the muscles are, but more about having very little fat on top of them. I used to have a 6 pack because I didn't eat much, now that I'm in a caloric surplus, my 6-pack is pretty much gone (which is slightly depressing, but the end result wil be worth it). The muscle is still under there, it's just in hibernation for the time being.

No, I really need help with my diet and work out regime.

I have been browsing a couple of sites and found some to be informative. Confirming few facts here.

I heard that treadmill jars feet, is that true? Plus any good top on a healthy diet which would help me reduce fast.
