I want to build my body

Im 5'8", 140lbs, skinny/lean, 17 years old.

I want to build abs, strengthen upper body and legs. Tone my muscles so they're more visible, maybe build them a bit bigger.

I currently eat puffed grains, fruits, poultry, fish, greens and other vegitables (carrots, peas, squash, tomato). I drink milk, water, and citrus juices like GrapeFruit with NO sugar. I take a daily multi-vitamin.

Ok.. any idea how I can maybe achieve my 6 pack, stronger upper body and legs? Im thinking of also joining kick boxing in 2008. The only sport I play is paintball. Just extra info.

responses are greatly wanted and welcomed!!!
 
another thing, i dropped junk food, soda, and other unnatural sources of sugar (fruits have sugar in it, thats prob the only place I'd get any of it from)

i drink tea and i do rarly drink coffee (if i do its in small amounts in the morning, usually days of big tests)
 
stick to basic exercises like squats, deadlifts, presses, rows, chins and dips

1-3 sets of 8-12 reps

use simple splits like upper body/lower body or push/pull

consume 5-6 meals a day roughly 3 hours apart

each meal should consist of complete proteins, complex carbs and healthy fats or protein/carbs or protein/fats

some rough ideas for you :)
 
5 - 6 meals? hmm. i usually eat a small one in the morning a decent size meal around lunch, and a very small one for dinner. im considering many possibilities. i'll add this one. i usually do eat protein enriched foods, but not constantly on a high level. i'll look into foods that have
