Hello xD, I'm here because I want to get down to 10% Body fat from my current 20%.

I am 14 years old and 5ft 4, 140lbs and for years now I have been to embarrassed to take my shirt off at beaches, go to swimming parties, and even take my shirt off at home around family members.

My goal is to lose 10% body fat by the time I go on holiday next ( June/July time). June/July is a long time away so I hope to maybe take it slow and lose the fat gradualy.


I will be eating 1800 Calories each day of the week and following an exercise plan designed by a member of this forum. ( Kara )


I plan on loosing 1.5 Lbs per week untill i have reached 10% body fat which "WILL" :p be before I go on holiday.


I will start all of this tommorow on Monday 7th December 09


If anyone thinks anything is wrong about my plan or the calories please tell me and give some advise. Thx! :D
 
Day 1

Today went well but I needed to eat a bit more through out the day at school but at least no bad foods eaten.

Slight change in plans, getting rid of the follow the calories rule as I will be just eating 5 small meals through out the day instead of counting calories as its so hard to do when your mum makes half of your food. :p ( I may try counting calories. Depends )

To be honest I didnt get my strength training in today but i got my cardio at school.

hey mate,

i think it's very good that you're actively concerned about your health and diet status at such a young age as long as you do it in an educated way and not something that will end up being harmful for you in the long run.

that said, calories are very important and so i wanted to suggest to you that maybe you ask for your mom's help and you two can plan your meals together, so you can still follow rules for calories. otherwise, it can get quite random, you might not be able to see the results you might expect and this might dishearten you for the future.

plus, it might be good fun to sit down and plan meals with your mom and both of you can get educated at the same time!

Great idea, But its been said alot before :p. And all i say is that i dont want to tell them as such because it is to embarrasing. :blush5:

Im going to try my hardest to find out the calories for foods that i eat. But how many calories should i be eating in a day if i want to lose weight?

im 14 male 5ft 4?
 
Day 2

Having second thoughts.... christmas coming up soon and am i really going to be able to not eat any sweets or junk.... hmm no.

Also today I already have eaten a few bad things :( . arrgg.

I am starting my full exercises tomorrow so i suppose then i can start with the eating better too.
