Hello people!
I've been lurking around this forum for a few weeks now, getting tips here and there. But today, I have decided to join all of yous. I figured that moral support is what I need most to succeed in this weight loss journey. And the lot of you seem pretty friendly and offer advices like you really know what you're talking about.
i'm pretty new at this so any encouragements and thoughts are more than welcomed
I'm 24 years old female, have been going to the gym 5 days a week, and have been watching my calories intake for 3 weeks now. Starting weight: 151.8 lbs and current weight is still the same. Because of this, I'm getting a bit discouraged. I know i know, I gotta focus more on how my clothes fit me and not watch the scales too closely, but it's just frustrating to not see the numbers budge at all!
On the plus side though, i'm building muscles in my arms and thighs, so maybe that explains it? I mean, with muscle being heavier than fat? Right? Riiiiight? It's either that or i've been doing it wrong
The day before yesterday was my first weigh in, and I was floored. Didn't take it too well and I binged to drown the frustration. However, today I am determined to do what it takes and pick up where i left off and continue the workouts. Hopefully, with this forum's support, I'll learn how to curb my urge to eat unhealthily and educate myself in all the tips and tricks of successful weight loss.
I'm so pumped for being here. Finally, questions can be answered! yay!
So yeah, I wanna say thanks in advance for helping me change my life.
Oh and really sorry for the bucketful of grammatical errors in this post. English is not my first language.

Not by much but I'm ecstatic! I took your advice; binging on this forum's support helps big time. I stayed on that damn treadmill and nearly killed myself but true enough, the weight has finally gone down. Wooot!
