Why on earth do you wanna loose 20lbs in 2 weeks!!!
Basicly you cant. Not if you wanna stay healthy anyway.
The most Ive ever lost in a 2weeks is 16lbs and thats because I had food poisoning.

Even if there was a way too acctually loose that weigth, in two weeks time there is no way you'd be in any state to wrestle. I doubt you'd be able to walk.

If you very over weight you could prob loose 20lbs in a couple of months with exersise and diet, but if your an average size then it would take much longer.

Well ok maybe 2 weeks is a little over doing it. But i still want to know how to get rid of my back fat,and side belly fat. I run about 5 miles each day and do alot of jump rope as well as abdominal work out. Its been a month and Its still there. Does anyone have some advise?

Why do you jog for 5 miles a day? Don't you do any strength training with the wrestling team? You need to count calories if you want to make weight adjustments.

Yeah, what kind of wrestling conditioning just makes you run and do crunches all day?

You need to be eating right and working out right. Visit the appropriate sections for that info. Basically, 20 lbs in two weeks ain't gonna happen, especially if you're just going to start doing the right stuff now.

no, the 5 miles is on my own time. So i actually do about 4 hrs of workout a day. I was buff, all i did was lift wieghts but i dont want that no more. i cut down on the wieght lifting and now i want to become lean and cutt. Its my first time trying i just need some advise on how to do it. I do count calories. i eat about 1500 a day. Some more advice ?

1500 is to low for your activity level. Check this site out for calorie needs

I think you might benefit from sprints or something of a higher intensity nature that will help you more on the mat.

I would also lift again. You could get by with about 5 lifts-push press, squat, row, high pull, rack pull. Lift for strength, not size, my friend.

well maybe i cant lose that much wieght at one time but i made some progress. i lost 7lbs in 4 days :) and im still healthy. And no i didnt starve myself or "food poisen" myself. i just ran 25 miles and did about 6k jump rope over the last 4 days :/ But i still want to know how to burn my side and back fat.. any advice?

7lbs!!! Thats quite a lot. Tho I dont have much about "rapid" weight loss I would take it easy for a few days. Maybe have full days rest and try it again next week.

Recomended weight loss is aprox 2lbs a week for an over-weight person.

Gaining lean muscle mass by lifting weights will speed up your metabolism enough to cut the fat from your sides and back. Running and other CV work is just a short cut to looking good. Its temporary, and as soon as you stop running you'll just start gaining fat again. However, if your looking for long term wellness and good body you should lift weights and do CV.

I didn't see anything mentioned about your eating habits. You can run all you want but in order to lose weight a healthy way you need to eat healthy food, meaning no fast food or junk food, plenty of fruits and veggies ect. If you truly are eating only 1500 calories a day, running 5 miles and working out for 4 hours you should be losing a lot of weight. I don't know what else you could do, but I recommend you eat more calories but make them healthy calories. Working out is excellent as muscle burns more calories than fat so it will help in the long term as well as changed eating habits. Don't always look for the short cut, although for wrestling that seems to happen a lot. You are probably much better off changing your diet, lifting some weights and maintaining your excercise level. You will eventually lose the weight and if you keep your good habits it will stay off.

Well ok heres my diet. (no fast food, no fat food, no fried food, no sugar, boiled chicken for protien, no soda, only drink water, little or no pastal;bread;ect, and alot of fruits and vegies) The real reason why im having a hard time is because my motabolism is very very low... thats why i only eat 1500 cal a day. MY current max bench is 215lbs, my current curl is 100 lbs (two hands) my squat is around 400-500lbs. like i siad i used to be buff thats why its so hard for me to change my body and my diet. Manofkent are you sure if i start lifting wieghts agian my motabolism will boost? So that i can lose that extra fat.. ?

Yeah but if this guys is a wrestler he needs to keep his strength.

Right. But relative strength is much more important in wrestling than absolute strength.

Toly, have you thought that maybe your metabolism is low because of your low caloric intake?

Man, pick up some Oly lifting and it's variants. Run some sprints.

eat more than 3 meals a day, do plenty of cardio, eat right, and build muscle. All of those things should help to boost your metabolism.
