i need better lats!

ok
for when doing lat exercises ...
is it the best to keep your back straight and shoulder blades in ?
like for the lat pulldown, rows ect?

sometimes i just cant seem to target the lats properly :(
i really need better lat muscles
ne ways .. could somebody help me out with proper technique for doing back exercises for lats.

If you can do them, chin-ups are the best!

On a lat pull, keep chest up with a slight arch in the back, don't rock, and retract your shoulder blades as you pull the bar to the chest. Don't worry about going wide. You'll only stress your rotators, and there isn't any difference in muscle recruitment.
