Thanks to everyone out there who has been supportive throughout this process. I have went from 315 lbs in August of 2009 to 195 lbs today (November 24th, 2010) My body fat % went from 35% to 15% and my BMI from 38.3 (obese) to 23.7 (normal). It took a lot of hard work and most importantly PATIENCE!!!! I took my daily calorie intake down from god only knows what to 1800 cal/day of healthy/nutritious food (no white flours, very limited sugar, easy on carbs, and lots of lean protein and fruits and vegetables). I worked out 4-5 nights a week doing 45-60 minutes of pretty intense cardio and 30 minutes of resistance training. I had my times where I didn't follow protocol and made bad food decisions but I told myself each time I was not going to let this one slip up tarnish all my progress and got right back on track. If there was one lesson I learned from this journey it is that patience is soooo important. If you are doing the work and staying on track the weight WILL come off - you just have to be patient and let the process happen. It will payoff in the end.
