I have lost my way :(

I joined this forum at the start of August and had great success. I was walking everyday and eating better (not well but better). I even won the August 6 week challenge here on WLF :)
Since then, and starting a new tighter regime, I have gained 3 lbs in 2 weeks. I have been using weights which I know can cause a plateau or a gain but I figure that with so much fat to lose I would see some loss in the last two weeks.
Normally this is when I would pack it all in and go back to my usual habits, in fact I did a bit this weekend. Not this time though, I have endured my weekend of 'cheering myself up with food' and guess what? Today I am more unhappy with my body than I was nearly 35lbs ago! It doesn't like when I fill it with C**P but I guess old habits die hard.
I know that any changes I can make will be for the better, I just wish I had stuck to the path that was working, now I'm not sure how to get back there. I had just followed my instinct and eaten what I thought I needed and left space for some treats, I tracked and I walked everyday. I guess I start back there and hope that I see some loss again, I am 236lbs today and a little lost. I wish there was a way to unlearn all of the 'knowledge' I gained in the past 2 weeks and get back on that horse!

Don't get discouraged, everyone has a little set back now and then. How many calories do you eat? Do you have a way of tracking them? Do you exercise regularly (not only weights but also running/walking/swimming/elliptocal/etc.)?

Things are still a little too lazy and busy. I blamed having too much to do when I didn't go for my walk today. Then I spent half of the day tryingh to kill time. Tomorrow I WILL get up and do either 45mins weights or 30mins on my eliptical machine. I will also eat well, no more skipping meals and I will drink my 2ltrs of water. I do have time, I will get up early and I will get back to taking it 1 step and 1lb at a time.

See the road marked Future? Go that way :)

you can't change what happened, you just need to learn from it, straighten your back and keep moving forward!!
