i gained most of my weight last semester -- mostly all 20 pounds last semester because of my massive drinking habits. definitely not drinking anyymoreee.
Yea. Drinking will do that. I used to tell myself that those calories didn't count, You can totally do it, coming to this site will keep you motivated.
You look fantastic at any weight! From the pictures I would have said less than 40lb.
I also put on a lot of weight due to drinking. As soon as I started drinking less, especially beer, then the pounds dropped off, so once you start cutting back on booze, you'll loose initial weight with no effort - you probably wont even have to start changing your eating habits much at first. It'll get a bit harder as time goes by, but by introducing healthier eating habits forever (I'm against diets personally) and a bit of exercise, you'll trim down in no time and you'll feel fantastic again
THANKS SO MUCH EVERYONE! so i started working out about 2.5 ish weeks ago.. and i weighed myself hte other night at the gym.. im down 10 pounds!! TEN! im so excited.
Just changing the way I eat and exercise.. When I was away at college, I'd go out to the frat house with my sorority sisters almost every night to drink. A LOT.
Now that I'm at home, I've tried to change my habits.
I workout everyday for about 1.5-2 hours. I only eat lean meat -- like chicken. I eat vegetables and fruits. I don't snack on chips and cookies anymore. At all. Not only eating healthier, but I've also cut back my calories. I try to make my portions smaller. So like, if I'm eating, I only take a small amount of everything. That way, I can still taste everything but just in smaller portions! Plus, my mom's a health nut and helps me. It's easier when you have support.
WOO Okay! So ive lost a little bit more weight since last time but not much -- ive been slacking and picked up drinking again,. wooops. but i do think i look better now than i did when i first got home from college. yey! i cant wait to reach my goal weight. im soo excited!
Thats great, I am glad that youre loosing weight. If you write down what you eat everyday, like a eating journal, that will help a lot, they say you loose 2x as much weight. And excersizing regurlally is very important as well.
