I could use some dieting help

I have gained 60 pounds in this past, which was a huge wakeup call that I need to lose weight. First thing I know, is to cut sodas, but after that, its kind of a problem. I don't know what to do, considering we have no stove, and no longer have an oven. Basically, all we have to cook food is a microwave and crock pot. My dad has had plans to put in a kitchen for the past couple of months, but we don't have much money per month, and every time something has come up to make it be put on hold; at one point, part of the roof fell.

What I want to know, what is the best thing we can do to diet with a microwave and crock pot?
