Hypothyroid problems??

So I have been taking hypothyroid pills for 10+ years and was just curious to know if that has any effect on me gaining muscle slower or putting on weight.

I am currently eating a surplus of 3,000 calories a day and going to the gym about 4 times a week. The main exercises I do are front/back squats, bench, dumbell press, deadlifts and have been doing this plus other exercise of course for about 2 months and im still at 170lbs and im 6' 2"

So basically what im wondering is should I just maintain what I'm doing and does me having hypothyroid problems have anything to do with this?
 
That depends on a couple of things. What the hypothryroidism is caused by, and your blood levels of T3/T4 while on the oral replacement.
 
I'm not sure on what the levels are but everytime I get my blood test done the doctor always says ok looks good keep taking them. And I take 50mcg a day iunno if that makes a difference
