Hyperlink ads

I don't know what version, I think it's the most recent, because I just had to get my computer completely wiped. And I use a PC. :)
 
I'm seeing them on my PC at home (firefox) and my PC at work (IE). Actually the word "computer" in the post above has one.

Edit: This post, the word "home" has one too.
 
Version 2.0.0.16 of Firefox on a PC (XP), and the same with IE + Vista on my laptop. But low and behold....this morning, they are gone!:hurray:

Edit: I thought they were, but in a different thread, the words 'this morning' were underlined, and when I hovered over them, I saw an add for coffee....*lol*...I am not overly bothered really, but as Lily said, it would be nice to know where they come from and stuff. But if I have to live with them...hey, I'll live with them!! :)

i'll drop him an email.... more than likely it was a change made to the site ... I see a lot of forums with it these days...

I thought they were gone, but when I logged on later I saw them everywhere.
I'm not like, upset or anything, but it's a little irritating.

I don't really care what it's called, I would just like to know if the mighty forum gods (haha) meant to do this. If so, I'll live with it, I just didn't want it to happen for no reason and have advertisers take over the forum.:willy_nilly:
 
Haha then it's fine by me. Doesn't bother me too much.
