Just thought i'd sign up and say hi after finding the site on google, ive never seen so much info on a forum, and some of the before and afters have really gave me the confidence that i can definately shift my weight!
I started to loose weight last year, but i got lazy again & after Xmas i was quite dissapointed that ive reached the heaviest ive been in a long while @ 120kg 5ft11 :( So im definately going to do something to sort this out & hopefully drop to 82kg :)

So with the new year being a perfect opportunity to start afresh I've dusted off the home weights set & Setup a table to count my daily calorie intake on Excel.

Any tips / links to usefull advice would be massively appreciated, cheers :)

Welcome Mista Tee ;)

Sounds like a plan to me :) All I can recommend is all I know which is the usual make sure you have lots of water, enough carbs for your workout and that you are eating enough for the day to keep your metabolism going. I am sure you know all of that already tho ;) Look forward to seeing you around. Have a marvellous day and a vibrant new year :)

"I pity the fool that tries to stop you from losing weight this year!!" (Sorry I could not help it...little Mr. T humor there ;)

The more you visit this site, the more motivation you get. So keep on clicking your way to your new self!

Welcome!

It has been recommended to keep a journal/diary to track your days to reflect on the good ones, and learn from the bad ones.
What seems to work for me since joining this site is to aim for a caloric intake target(based on age, height and exercise level) instead of a"diet". And finally, get moving.
I have also found the challenges to be motivational & inspirational.

Good Luck to ya!
