How to gain weight?

Hello everyone, this is my 1st thread and i had some q's......
Im currently 21yrs old 6'0 and wiegh 120pds, as u can tell im a skinny guy. I try to gain weight but nothing i do works. I eat non-stop. An avg daily meal would be ex.
Breakfast: Instant Carnation
2eggs w/1slice of cheese/little milk
slice of wheat bread w/grape jelly
Snack: Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwhich
Lunch: Pasta usually
Snack: Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwhich
Supper: Chicken "Meats and Vegetables"
Snack: Bannana and Instant Carnation Breakfast

neways i feel like i eat more than whats required of me. Ive tried weight gainers but no luck with them. Also i do own a barbell with different weight like 8/12/15 pds. I lift like 5days a week. I usually lift around 40pds a few sets of 15. Thats about all i can do b4 i get tired. But i can lift more weight than that just not as many times though. I really want to gain weight. I can tell a difference in my arms that i have bigger muscles there but still i need to gain weight. I also do situps/crunches 5times a week, i have a 4pk but its not really noticeable unless im sitting or lying down. Dr. says i have high metabolism. Ne ideas or hints on how to gain weight? My goal would prob be around 160-170 if possible.

Your example of what you may eat in a day doesnt show many calories ... maybe around 2100-2300
i would say start around 2800-3000 at first and see how much you gain in one week, to see if you have to up the calorie.
if you gain what you desire per week, then continue that calorie range .. if you dont ... up the calories.

As easy as bulking sounds, i dont think it is ... bulk clean.
