So, I'm swimming in my clothes, but I'm also losing weight fairly quickly. I was in in 18s when I started. I'm now in loose 14s. I have ONE pair of size 14 pants. They were a gift from my aunt, and sadly, they aren't work-appropriate. Everything else I own hangs off me.
I swore I wouldn't buy anything until I was down to a size 12. But I look ridiculous in all but one pair of my work-related pants. Since all my pants are so big, I'm belting them. I have to wear them way up high and cinch the waist in. And once that's done, the front puckers really badly. And then the puckering causes the top part to stick out in a point. It looks really stupid. My tops sort of cover this unsighly area, but the fabric on the pants still protrudes.
I guess I'm just too much of a cheapskate to buy clothes each time I drop a size. It doesn't make sense to me.
What do you do? How often do you buy new clothes when you are in the midst of losing a lot of fat and many dress sizes?
