how many days

Everbody has their own sechduael but i was wondering how mnay days should you rest in a week during your workouts including cardio and weight training?
 
Everyone is different and it usually depends on what your strength training method is. When I did a full body routine, I rested 2 times per week. When I do a split routine I will rest once per week.

I equate rest with doing no cardio and no strength training.
 
Yes, it depends on what you're doing. You should wait at least 48 hours after training a muscle before you train it again. For cardio, you should have at least 1 day a week where you don't do any, but preferably 2-3.
