how long?

Between a set of reps should I wait on a 5x5 program,AND between each different each excercise?

At the moment after I do the first set of 5, I pause for about 3 secs roughly and then onto the second set etc etc.but between each excercise I could pause anywhere between 2-5 mins?:confused4:

On another note is there a limit on water intake? sometimes I can go through a litre in a workout that could last 1hour 15mins.

you should wait more than 3 secs between sets.. or are you confusing sets and reps?

If you want strength you should go for about 2 min rest periods between sets.
