How do you build these?

i was just watching eng vs port ... sobs.. eng :(

just checking out team pics and came upon this..... what do you do to build that weird webbing-like muscle that looks like its connecting from his side to his arms?

Lats..
latbar pulldowns, wide grip pullups. :) There are others that involve the lats, but these are pretty major.

i can't help but agree


....but as to your question, I prefer pullups as opposed to lat pulldowns, when you feel comfy with lifting your own bodyweight, you will likely get more out of lat pulldowns when you switch to doing them
