how do u bulk and keep your stomach the same

hey, im 14 and want to bulk up a bit but im not really sure how. But i only want to bulk if i can keep my stomach the same cause its verging onto a six pack. Please if anyone knows how to bulk and still keep your stomach the same i would love to know how. Also am i two young to bulk im not sure.

haha, YOU CAN'T!!!!!!!!!!

Tust me.

Ur not to skinny now anyway so you dont need to bulk, besides, i found out the hard way, 14 is too young to bulk, you dont have enough testostrome in ur body .

And what do you mean verging? Its like fully ripped, i would guess ur like 7% bf, maybe even less, ur as ripped as hell man!

lol already have met tim hes one of my best friends anyway is there anything i can do to get a bit more thicker in the arms and legs without putting on body fat

Yeah just train for mass, do like 8-12 reps for as many sets till you fail, or one rep before you fail, as mreik would advise.

yeah tim's right. The testosterone thing isn't how old you are though it's at what stage of development you're at. If you still sound like a girl when you talk don't bother yourself in the weights room. And yeah, bulking and maintaining a six pack is basically impossible especially for somone who's never done it before.

I don't think your goals necessitate that you need to bulk. If you want to get your arms and legs a little bigger, hypertrophy will do the job just fine.

i would have thought low rep high sets would have been better for building muscle? maybe im wrong

Low Reps

You're right. My dad is a lifter and told me that, and that's been corroborated by what I learned in personal fitness in school, and what I've read from successful lifters online. The ONLY place that I've heard of 8-12 reps for building mass is here. Hypertrophy is defined as growth of muscle cells, resulting from exercising the muscles. That can happen to some degree by almost any form of exercise. Lifting a weight 5x5 or 4x4, or something similar, with at most 8 reps per set, will stress the muscle the most and induce the most growth. The muscle will get stronger and bigger with low reps, high weight. Lift a weight that you can manage any more reps on, and you are shifting your focus towards muscular endurance. When a muscle gets bigger, it's because the individual cells are growing. The most growth occurs when you can stimulate the highest number of cells, which you can do by lifting a heavy weight, which will stress a higher number of cells, especially in the supporting areas around the target muscle that help to balance a weight and control the motion during the lift. This occurs especially when using free weights as opposed to machines, as machines isolate a muscle and activate less of the minor surrounding muscles.

hey so i really don´t need to be 8% bf to start bulking? because my abs will not show when the procees of bulking start right?

Depends if your bulking clean or dirty. I know people who still have visible abs after a bulking phase, but they generally eat clean throughout.
