Niiiiiice! I hope I feel comfortable enough to post a pic in my underwear one day. :blush5:

Good job!

You give me hope......you see, I just now have the little tummy pouch that you used to have (although mine is bigger).....you know that line that you can see from a side view, the line of tummy fat? Anyway, well I have that now and I noticed that it's totally gone o you so there is hope for me :hurray:

Btw, you look fantastic, you already looking smoking hot, you can wear a bikini already without worrying about being chubby, I would say you are of slim/slender build already. You look gorgeous, seriously.

Well done!

Alta818: Thank you, it really means a lot to me that my hard work is showing. I wish you luck too!

texanengineer: Thanks!!!

NolaRob: You can and will have that confidence. I really looked at everyone elses progress it makes me feel happy, and with that I want to share my own story. Knowing people want to know, and people can be inspired by me is enough to give me the confidence. I want to know your story and so does everyone else. :D

joeyscotland A big thing that is helping me is my posture. I sit tall so that my core is engaged. Running is helping my belly fat slim down too. I've seen your pictures and you are doing an AMAZING job! Stay strong, because you can do it. Especially if I can. Thank you so much.

purpleshirt Thanks!!

Holy crap!! I can't stop looking at your thread!! I saw your old thread with the first two bikini pics and from those till now is just HOLY ****!!! Thats all I can really say! How long did it take you???? I am sooooo happy to see your progress! What are you doing to lose the weight? besides the pilates classes? Do you find that the pilates classes are helping you at all with your weight loss?

Congrats girl!!

Thanks! Btw, you are correct on the running! I started running three miles, five days per week about two weeks ago and I have dropped so many inches even although the scale hasn't budged much.....it just blows my mind how running is so effective. Running is the way to go! I find it quite addictive.

I'll have to try improving my posture, it's something I always talk about fixing but, never do and I do have awful posture.

adeon So far it's been about 6 months of hard work. I joined my gym about 9 months ago, but it was right smack dab in the middle of the holidays. BAD IDEA. I ended up starting at 145 but shot up to 158 AFTER I joined my gym. I got the whole "im working out so I can eat whatever complex". So in January I cleaned up my diet, upped my cardio and started running.

I haven't started pilates yet, I just joined a class in hopes of getting toned and making my core stronger so I can get a flat tummy. BUT mostly what I've done is stuck to a home diet, when I say that I cook all my food, I don't eat out, and I use a low carb cookbook when I'm feeling adventerous. I drink a protein shake after working out for a good refresher. Generally a strength train 3X a week, cardio 5-6 times a week (usually running, elliptical, star trak, anything that will get my heart rate going for a good 30-45 minutes a day) I'm going to start pilates and go for a little longer cardio now, tho. Thanks for the kind words! I hope to post my final results in August or September.

xnatsx Thank you so much, I'm a bit too self conscious at this point, though. I'm 5'4"...okay...5'3.5 :/ lol

joeyscotland I love running, I can't run outside very long tho!! The most I can go nonstop is about 2 miles before I fall over lol. The c25k thing really helped me get started!! On the treadmill, though I can run about 3.5. It's so weird, I guess climate (this gross sticky louisiana heat) and terrain all play a cause, but I burn mad calories outdoors. Where do you run?

Sometimes when I'm just sitting, like at the computer, I sit tall and engage my core, I really feel it burn in my lower back after a little while. We must not forsake out sit ups and crunches tho ;)

NolaRob HA! I'm surprised someone finally caught on to the leet speak :D

ehh.............so....i ate really bad these past 5 days and rarely worked out

how is this going to affect me? I'm gonna jump back into things ASAP, it's just man...when i'm with my boyfriend all we do is eat out and I feel like i DONT have any control over my hands putting pie into my mouth :(

I just noticed that you said "this chubster"... pretty sure you can't call yourself that anymore. Your before/after pics are great!

Wow you look awesome, keep up the good work! I hope to look as good as you in 6 months also.
Thanks For the motivation!
Suzy :}
