So I kind of jumped right into this forum without introducing myself! So let me do that now. I'm Natalie, 21 years old, from Connecticut. I've been into fitness on and off for the past few years but started doing it with firm regularity almost a year ago when it became very important to my health. I have epilepsy caused by a brain tumor, and working out has helped me stay healthy and seizure free by keep my stress level down and energy level up (stress and tiredness make me more susceptible).
I do several kinds of exercise, and was in great shape until a disaster of a birth control made me gain fat rapidly (see my thread in the weight loss forum to see what I'm doing, what it did, and maybe advise me?). Not looking to be competition worthy or anything, just healthy and toned. I was skinny as a teen and it looks bad on me (I'm 5'11") so as I try to lose this "hormone" weight I want to make sure there's something good under there.
So that's it, I'm here to learn and share my enthusiasm. So. Hello!
