Hitting my plateau

So, I've recently lost a pretty good amount of weight in the past 3-4 months, gone from 275 pounds to 225 pounds. I'm currently stuck right now between 225-230 for the past few weeks. Haven't really changed that much in my daily life, just curious to know if anyone had any pointers or tips to get going again, I'm trying to hit under 200 pounds. I eat pretty healthy and go to the gym 5-6 times a week. Below is my daily diet and work out regime.

Mon - Light cardio (30 minute run) + weight lift (arms)
Tuesday - 60 minute walk
Wednesday - Light cardio/eliptical + weight lift (shoulders & back)
Thursday - Heavy cardio run 45-60 minutes
Friday - Light cardio (30 minute run) + Ab & chest work out
Saturday - Heavy cardio outdoor run or Swim
Sunday - rest

Diet

Breakfast - egg & wheat toast
Lunch - sandwich & fruit
Dinner - Salad or fish or boca burger or wrap

I snack on nuts, fruit, or pretzels in between meals, and intake plenty of water.

any help would be great. thanks.

The workout looks good, however, personally i'd be a bit careful with the sandwich and the pretzels.

As weight falls, so does your caloric requirements assuming you aren't starving yourself to begin with. If you don't compensate your intake for the reduction in weight, eventually you will plateau.

It's tough to say if this is the case with you since you aren't very specific with your nutrition; as in calorie and nutrient amounts.

Before I'd go figuring the plateau is caused by your body, I'd focus on zoning in on your diet and figuring out what your caloric intake is. Snacking on nuts, alone, can be pretty dangerous if you aren't controlling it.

I'd bet it's a calorie imbalance thing before anything else.

Have you seen things like or calorieking.com?

That's a great transformation. P90x isn't my thing. Many people enjoy it. My point is though, that P90X isn't magical. It won't fix all plateaus.

What does it take to become a beach body consultant or whatever you called it?

You are right p90x is not for everyone, but it really helped me out that is for sure. In order to become a coach you just have to be willing to help out others. Give motivation and be an expert with the workout programs :)

I see. So you need to know the ins and outs of the P90X program and that's it? I assume these consultants don't give recommendations outside the confines of the P90X routine.

My curiosity arises simply b/c I've been seeing a lot of these beach body consultants running around the forums and I'm sincerely hoping the team over there at P90X isn't giving unqualified people who have used their program 'expert' status simply to help promote their product. This could be very misleading to novices who deserve appropriate advice and only serves to make the fitness industry look worse than it already is.

Please realize this is nothing against you and I could very well be jumping to conclusions.

My experience with another one of these consultants on another forum though proved to be disheartening, is all.

Nope I understand 100%, its more of a motivational coach I am here to help anyone that has issues with the program because I have been through it. Also when I said expert I did not mean it in a sense of me being a expert having that title from the company. I should not have used that term :)

I love to help people, and I help people the best that I can. The best help that I offer is motivation.

Hope this clears things ups a little

First, RAAAAGGGGGEEE at 90x.

Second. The reason you hit a plateau is because you have an arms day and are eating less than a 10 year old girl scout. Post a FULL routine (movements, sets, reps) and a FULL diet (food, amount, time).
