I do HIIT on treadmill, and outdoors during strenous hiking that includes trail running and jogging down hill. I'm wondering if the bilateral, symmetrical twitching I get in my hamstrings, quads, calves and feet are from strenuous cardio. The twitching is not jerking motions, but rather, it feels like how an eyelid twitch feels -- that kind of twitch. The twitching is very noticeable when I work at the computer. It does not happen when I drive or when I'm in bed either at night or in morning. I don't feel it during exercise including upper body. Anybody notice a link between HIIT and twitching, at least when one sits at computer?
