So, your eating enough calories. I don't want to sound like I know alot about weight lifting but I am taking a Kinisiology course this semester.

Guess what the main energy source for excersise like weight lifting is? Carbs. Lifting weights is an anarobic activity. The energy that you muscles get to lift those weights come mainly from glucose in your blood stream. Things like long distance running/swimming for an hour turn into arobic activites. That basicly means oxygen is directly involved and after about 5-8 min of it you switch from burning glocose to breaking down fat stores.

Ok, what you want is low glycamic load foods. That means natural stuff like greens, veggies, nuts, fruits and some other stuff. Up your meal count. 6 or more smaller meals a day. That makes for constant energy to those energy starved muscles. If you don't feel like eating that healthy, you can try eating you old foods even more incrementedly. So that it dons't spike your insullin levels. Also spread you protien intake out in those meals. Protien can only last about 3 hours in your blood stream (I think) so after that you protien deprived.

Uh, I think i covered it. Sorry to kinda badger you with all that info. Let me know if you have any more questions.
