Hi! I'm from Norfolk in the UK Ive been lurking on this forum for a few days especially in the before and after photo section! wow what inspiration!!! About me; well I'm female 23 (nearly 24) 5ft 9 and 223lbs
I have lost 25lbs so far and have gone from a UK size 22 to a UK 14/16/18 depending on where I shop, obviously I'm very pleased but I have a very distorted body image I see a much larger person looking at me in the mirror. I see myself the size of people Ive seen weighing 350-400lbs and often compare myself to people and my friends/family have to say NO she's about twice your size. How do I break this? Perhaps I should post some photos for honest opinions? I think people get annoyed with myself seeing me as something I'm not and I don't want to appear attention seeking in the slightest, its an honest worry of mine mainly because if I don't see the real me will I know when to stop loosing weight? My goal weight is 140lbs so thats 83lbs to go! I have a mini goal though as I'm off to the Maldives in April so I'd like to loose another stone, its 8 weeks away so 2lb a week and I'll be there.
I look forward to sharing the highs and lows of my journey with y'all and congratulating you all on your no doubt many successes!
