Just registered, been looking on here for a while now but never posted but ive hit a bit of a wall in terms of weight loss progress and would like some advice/guidance and thought you all seem like a lovely, helpful bunch so came here
I currently weigh 230 pounds, I'm 179cm tall (5 foot 10.7 ish). About 2 weeks ago i started this journey "properly".
To be honest im really eating very little right now, an idea of my daily intake would be -
Breakfast - Low fat bio yoghurt usually accompanied with fresh fruit and water.
Lunch - Weight watchers meal, a 4 point one, with a glass of water.
Dinner - Usually a chopped up chicken peice, grilled with some form of spice, cajun seasoning etc with long grain rice or salad.. and more fruit for dessert.
If im snacking ill probably have a slice of weight watchers bread toasted with vitalite spread.
Im excersising like a woman possessed right now. I bought myself a wii fit so i usually do the aerobic section, e.g jogging, hula hooping, boxing for about an hour and a half a day with the muscle workouts for about 30 mins at night. I also bought the "My fitness trainer" workout dvd for the wii, which i find more effective in getting my heart pumping, if i dont use the wii i do 45 minutes on there, usually 15 mins in the day, 30 at night.
I have done this every day for a week now, but the results aren't really showing much.
So far i have lost 1 pound...
I think maybe I'm going wrong somewhere... I don't have any gym memberships or personal trainers, haven't spoken to a doctor but i am aware of my bmi and what i need to lose for a healthy weight.
I would love some advice on where you think Im going wrong or what you think would be a good calorie intake, workout plan etc..
Right now Im feeling a little disheartended but I'm still positive as like most people on here, I want this more than anything
