Hi There, New Here!!!

Hi everyone!!! I just joined and I hope this works for me. A little bit about myself: I teach sunday School, I am 23, married to the sweetest, most beautiful woman, no kids. I want to be a teacher, the thing I enjoy doing the most, is spending time with my family-particularily me neices, Abby and Logan. The second most enjoyable thing for me is riding and training horses. I have riden and shown horses for years. I would LOVE to hear from people who also enjoy this. My sister is Newmommy1, you should check her out, that is Abby in the picture with Erica (Isn't she the cutest little thang you have ever seen?!?) I would definitely love support-The good Lord knows that I need it! I need to lose about 30 to 40 lbs, but am grateful that I hold my weight fairly well. when I have clothes on, I actually don't look too bad, but boy is that annual week long family camp trip to the lake an eye-opener!!! I am on weight watchers and when I actually get around to doing the diet for a while, it really works good, my problem is remembering to diet! It always seems like I remember I'm fat AFTER I swallow the last bite of cheesecake! Well, any advice, or just a quick hello is surely welcome!!! Thanks for reading my first post! God Bless.

Welcome to the forum!! One of the first step to all of this is just remembering to be conscious. It's a lot to take in at first but you CAN do it!! :D:D
 
hey Uncle welcom to the forum, i have heard that Weight Watchers is really good and has a high sucsess rate.........this site is really good for support and fun too!!!!!! Just try to remember getting into a speedos on the lake side, and that should help motivate you!!!!! laters dude........keep posting!!! STAR
 
Hey :) Welcome big brother! My first recomendation is to log everything you eat, count the calories and start posting in other people's diaries, they will, in turn, supprt you! And at thanksgiving dinner I'll slap that cheescake out of your hand :p Well, gotta go, Matt's home :) Great to see you here!

Well, I started the day off bad coz I was in a hurry to get to work, but I guess I did OK after work, got a chicken thing at Micky Dee's, but I have to learn to avoud that place if at all possible! Thanks for the welcome guys, and If I didn't post in your Diary, it is because I couldn't find it, (I'm having problems figuring this whole thing out, but my sis is helping!!!) Well anyways, gotta go 4 now, thanks again, maybe I'll start a ticker if I can figure it out, that way I'll have some motivation to lose the lbs, I wouldnt wanna be the only one still at Zero!!!

O.K. I need to get controll of myself!!! I was B-A-D today! I worked a 10.5 hr shift starting at 6:45 am and we had a potluck at lunchtime. then after work I just picked up Chinese coz I was sooo tired and didn't want to cook, neither did my wife. I started out getting just honey chicken - no breading, not that bad right? well, then my eyes wandered over the crabmeat and cheese rangoons, and it was all over. needless to say, I am ashamed to report this, and kinda sick to my stomach. Chinese is never worth it!!! I don't know why I do this to myself. Well tomorrow isnt looking to good either, I am going to my grandma's house, and who can resist your grandmothers cooking?
 
hey, it's ok! Just try to remember that one moment of resisting temptation can save you hundreds of calories. For instance if you had just taken a minute to resist the rangoons and left the temptation would have been gone. Oh well, tomorrow's another day. :)

Hi, Well I started good, I only wasn't even hungry till noon, so I only ate a Lean Quisine french bread pizza. I had water and milk all day. I had one piece of chocolate. But then I unexpectedly got called to work. I didn't even have time to eat anything else. I have hypoglycemia, so when I need to eat, I really NEED to or else! Well at work I needed to so I got out Doritos that we had laying around and ate till I was full!!! I don't even know how many coz I was busy working too. Then when I got home, my wife had made wet boritto's, I only ate one with lots of sour cream. I certainly didn't do good, but I didn't do too bad either. Well thats it for now.
