I want to post this thread to say hi to everyone and say that I am a new member to this online community.
I want to lose 2 steon (14lbs) at least!!!
Two months ago I had given somking and joined the gym!!!! 2 months down the road I am proud to say I have been attending the gym every Week. I am currently doing 3 spinning 45 min classes, 2 aerobis 60 min classes, daily walking 30 to 45 mins and 3 hours of tennis per week topped up with around 90 mins cycling.
3 weeks ago I weighed myself and discoverd that I had put half a stone (7lbs). I was baffled by this but came to the conclsion that I was eating more calories than I could burn. So last week I decided to keep a food dairy and to my horror it came to light that I was consuming at least 200 to 500 (depending what was eaten) calories more than the reccommended BMR amount plus including the calories I was burning.
Last week I had managed to eat 2684 less calories. I am aiming to eat 3500 less this week!!!
I have not weighed this week but I am not expecting to have lost anything...I am basically wanting reassurance to clarify that I should not give up and that I am tackling my weight loss in a realistic and senisable manner.
Any advise and useful suggestions would be gratefullty received.
