Michael here just joined this forum here's my brief story.
I have quit smoking for 30 days now and not smoked 600 cigarettes, anyway i have decided to try and lose weight now as they say you put it on when you quit.I do need to lose weight this aside.
I am 5ft 8 ins tall
Weigh 14st 11lb (got weighed 24/11/07)
BMI 31.4 (This shocked me as it is classed as obese)
My aims are pretty simplistic really i aim to cut down on food consumption and get more exercise ie walking.My target is to get to a healthy weight/BMI something like 11st 10lb which would give me a BMI of 24.98 and put me in the ideal weight range.I will perservere as long as this takes me.

oh and before all you animal lovers get cross its a very old legend about people from Hartlepool where i live and them mistaking a monkey as a French spy and subsequently hanging it on the beach way back in Napolionic times.
