Hey, new kid on the block.

Hey everyone, I've just started working out again (for about a month now). I stopped for about 2 years, I guess I just got busy and lazy and made excuses for myself.

Now I've never been "in shape," I'm currently about 5'6" and weigh 220lb. My long term goal is some where around 170-180, but realistically 190, as I'm also hitting the iron pretty hard. I go to the gym 5-6 times a week, usually consisting of an hour of weights and an hour and a half of cardio.

Well I just wanted to stop in and say hi, I'll be seeing everyone around.

I am nearly the same height as you, and let me tell ya. Your goal is attainable, and I wish you well in attaining it! I am not wishing your luck. Luck doesn't have anything to do with it. But walking an educated path and applying what you learn consistently and learning from mistakes and what your body tells you is the right and wrong things to do, and then adapting then one can: Rock-OUT!
