Here we go!

Well, Im back! I used to come here a while back and lost some weight but put it back on and more! :(

Anyway, Im back at it now. I've got two goals to work towards which should help. Firstly a friends wedding in July. It's gonna be hot so I cant cover up too much!! Then, in October I'm starting a new course. It's a small class and gonna be a fairly intense few years so dont want to have the 'im the biggest' feeling making it worse!

I dont know my current weigh....gonna weigh myself monday morning and see! Reckon probably 16 stone or so... :eek2: But, lets stay upbeat, not for long!! Ideally I'd like to be a Uk size 12-14.....not sure what weight that would make me but seen as how im currently 18-20 I'm hoping to loose a fair bit!


So the plan is to be more organised with food....have easy options in the house to avoid getting take aways, healthy snacks, make better decisions at lunch etc....but no calorie counting...I just cant deal with that! Exercise wise I've signed up for some salsa classes... :jump:....and throw in some aqua aerobics and WAY more walking!

So, I start Monday....I know i should start this minute but I'm at my parents house at the mo so lots of temptation today and tomorrow so it's not too realistic........but Im excited about Monday!!!
 
Well I weighed myself this morning.`15 stone 7 and half lbs. Which is WAY too much but nearly half a stone less than I thought I was so Im actually pretty happy about it. Gives me a boost starting out!
 
:seeya: Welcome! Since you've already been to the forum some time ago, you already know your way around. We have lots of folks from the UK who are losing and inspiring us!

Have you come up with a plan for how to lose the weight?

Well Im from Ireland actually!

My plan is simply to up my exercise and to get healthier foods. If its too complicated I wont stick to it.

Being going pretty good so far. I've gone for a walk everyday this week (at least 30 mins). I've been eating healthier too. Cut out the junk food and sticking to healthy meals and snacks like fruit, yoghurt or popcorn. Also been making extra meals and freezing them so I'll have something easy if im in a rush some day!

Well week one down. Overall I've been pretty good I think. Walked 6 days out of 7, and making better food choices I think. Went out for dinner and managed to pick a chicken stirfry. Pretty pleased coz Id normally opt for burgers or something like that!! I was tempted today and bought a mars bar. But, I threw it away after one bite so not too bad. As my boyfriend said its one dropped stitch in the tapestry of my journey....which I thought was a nice way to look at it!!! Havent weighed myself, have decided to only do that when I go to visit my parents which is once every 3 or 4 weeks. That way i wont get disillusioned if I dont loose lots every week,,,there will hopefully be some loss ever time I go home! Better for motivation me thinks. Well heres to next week!!!
