Trying this weight loss thing again!
I've been up and down this weight loss journey for more than a decade, but as my username says, I'm not giving up. I'm here to try again!

Starting Weight: 185lbs
Weight Loss Goal: 60lbs
End Date: October 2011

Gillian Anderson's my favorite actress. She doesn't necessarily make me want to lose weight but she definitely makes me happy and I tend to get motivated a lot easier when I'm in good spirits!

My Plan

60 minute cardio (5/7 days a week)
30 minute weight training (4/7 days a week)

1800 Calorie Diet (1st month)
1600 Calorie Diet (2nd month)
1400 Calorie Diet (3rd - 6th month)


Other things I'm doing to help with my diet

Keeping away distractions (mainly the computer which keeps me very inactive throughout the day)

I'm trying to do 'self-esteem' building activities each day, since most of my weight gain has been a direct consequence of my low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety issues. I figure that I can't just lose the weight without fixing my emotional well-being first (or at least along the way)

I'm also creating a video/photo diary (private/personal) that I hope will create a visual of my weight loss to help motivate me down the line.

Every day I'll be visiting someone's journal (either on this site or online) to get motivated by the progress of others.
