Help with Whey

I am currently in a workout stage between bulking and cutting. Somewhat of a transition stage. I still do a lot of lifting but I am starting to substitute with more cardio. I just bought a tub of whey protein. How much should I take? How often? When? I took about 25 grams today after my workout. Please, any suggestions would help
 
Its a protein "supplement". I eat at least 40grams of protein with every meal. I sip on 40+ grams of protein during my workouts.
 
I have 30g in each meal (If possible), and a protein shake 20 min before a workout, than right after. Again 30g worth.

This ties in with how often to eat, try and have at least 6 meals a day.
 
I do one protein shake an hour before, which is 30g of protein. And a protein shake within an hour after, another 30g.
 
i wouldnt wait an hour later, your muscles needs something to build with asap after workout, the longer you wait, the less effective it is, since you loose the whole "right after workout" thing.
