I seriously need to lose my 'love handles' (I'm not sure of the proper name). I'm able to pinch almost an inch and a half from them and an inch from the front. In another thread someone posted that they lost 80 lbs, but that there was no way of getting rid of the excess skin other than building up alot of muscle or having surgery. What I was wondering was whether or not that applied to losing even the littlest bit of weight b/c I'm trying to lose 6 lbs and I never really thought about what would happen after the excess fat is gone. I'm not trying to build muscle either. So does anyone know if excess skin will be a problem for me?
And another thing. Can someone help me figure out my percentage of fat. Every site I go to either gives me a different number or doesnt even ask for enough info. If anyone would be willing to help me calculate it, it'd be greatly appreciated.
I'm 5'4" (no short jokes), I weigh 150lbs, I can pinch an inch and a half around my waist. I'm really muscular everywhere else but my belly area has always been a problem for me. (my diet sucks ass but I've been working on it.)
Apparently I'm supposed to be taking in 2300 calories a day. If thats the case whats the best way for me to go about losing 6 lbs. And I want to lose it as fast as I can, healthily. In other words, how many calories a day do I need to burn in order to lose the 6 lbs in say 4 weeks, etc.
I'm not really working out as much as I used to but still trying to work out at home as much as I can and occassionally going to the gym. And just a week ago I started doing sprints about 50-60 yrds, about 10 everyday. And I'm farely certain I can run a 40 in about 4.7-4.8. How do I go about figuring out how many calories I'm burning from my sprints.
Thanks
(sorry if this post seems disorganized. I just wanted to get as many questions in it as I could.)
