I'm a 16 year old male, and for ages now I've been eating lots and lots of food. I think I'm one of those people who can seemingly eat whatever they want and just not show it in their appearance. The thing is I'm getting a bit worried about this, I'm thinking that I'd better start cutting down on the amount of food I'm eating because I fear that as I get older I'll start to show it more, and I will begin to feel the damage that all my eating has done earlier on in life.
Is it true that if you gorge on food as a kid you will pay the price later in life?
I believe it's called having a faster metabolism than normal. When other people my age are full from eating, I can just continue for ages before being full. I'm not joking, it really does take a lot to fill me up.
What I want to know is is it wise to start cutting down on my eating at my age? Or will it start to interfere with growth?
I'm aiming for a 6-pack and have started cardio, weights, and healthier eating...but it still doesn't change my huge appetite.
Should I carry on eating until I'm full (of healthy stuff), or try and eat normal sized portions?
If I cut down to normal sized portions and go around feeling really hungry, will my hunger eventually go away and be satisfied with the smaller portions?
I also noticed that whenever I do get full from eating, it's not very long before I'm hungry again. This means I spend most of my day feeling hungry. What should I do?
