Hi,
I am new to this forum and also to this gym lark... I would like some tips on how to become more defined and toned. What I dont want is to be bulky, just to have an athletic body ie. swimmers.
My details are as folows:
Age: 22
Weight: 81.1kg (179 lbs)
Height: 5ft 11
BF%: 18% (Was just under 17% until I damaged a ligament in my ankle about 2 months ago and couldnt do any running or exercise that involved using my legs) I dont know whether this is right because I dont seem to have that much fat on me so dont know whether the machine I used was accurate)
BMI: 24
I have been a member of the gym for about 2 1/2 months now so I have been going as much as possible... although I missed 2 weeks due to going on Holiday.
I try to get there 3-4 days a week and do weights for about 40mins and cardio (mainly swimming due to my injury) for about 20-30mins.
I play a lot of sport including field hockey (at good standard) and football/soccer and am in quite good shape, just not defined enough. I have a 4 pack verging on 6 but I want 6 to be fully visable... i know this is were the diet part comes in and would be thankful if someone could lead me in the right direction of obtaining one. (I mean i dont eat unhealth food just probably eat at the wrong times)
I would also be greatful if someone could post an example of a weekly workout programme based on just defining and toning what I already have and not bulking or weight loss.
