help me out here---self confidance at an alltime low.

I lost 5 pounds and half an inch on my arms...in less than a week. It started when the family and I went on vacation where I was limited to about 1500calories a day and no lifting, and a bunch of running and playin around. That was a few weeks ago...I have gained nothing back. I have been eating the same amount as I did before I went on vacation, and am doing the same weight lifting stuff (that didnt go down...so i guess thats alright).
 
well it takes 48 hours after your last workout before the body begins to detrain.

all you can do , is get back on the horse and keep hitting it hard, and make sure your food intake is good.
don't let one vacation ruin what you've accomplished.
 
Definitely don't be discouraged, it has only been a few weeks! Next time you're away on vacation though, keep up with the push-ups, squats and crunches... you can do those anywhere. As far as your weight, maybe up your caloric intake a bit, keep you diet clean and start lifting in the 8-10 rep range and work towards increasing your strength and regaining your size. Keep to basic compound exercises as well:
