Help me keep motivated!

Hi cyber-people! I'm 48, and have just reached my weight-loss goal of 40 pounds. I'm only 4'8" tall, and had gained up to 165 pounds. I now weigh 123and am determined to lose down to my healthy weight of 105. (I know that seems light, but remember...4'8"!!!) I am no longer on blood pressure or cholestrol meds, and my knees feel so much better.
My husband is so proud of me, and my niece is inspired to start a weight-loss program after seeing my success. It's been hard, and required a lot of willpower and portion control. I try to excercise, but I do have bad knees. Anyone got advice on knee and hip-friendly excercise programs? I do have a pool, and have been swimming, but cold weather will come sooner than I want it to.
I want to seek real friends who will visit with me, encourage me, and help me stay motivated. I will return the favor!
OK. That's enough. I'll look for replies, and hope to meet some cool folks.

Hey, welcome. I'm new to this myself, and I intend to keep coming back as much as I can. Let's keep ourselves motivated. Being at my lap is better than running to the fridge, and I know I'm sitting but I have no food on my hands right now, so that's what you call progress..Good luck yo you, and no looking back.
