Help me get strong

Hey wassup guys...

Ok im 24 years old...im 5'5'' tall and weight around 135 or 140 lbs....

I wanna get strong and mostly strong for arm wrestling with my friends...

Back in the days i use to beat my friends at arm wresttling but they have seem to gotten stronger cause i cant anymore, its a shame cause they all 18 and 19 years old...(they are taller than me and got bigger bodys than mines though..)


What exercise do i need to do to get good at Arm wresttling?

Also my friend can lift 45lbs dumbbell bout 20 times...i can only do it 5 times and thats pushing my self to the limits lol, how can i be able to do it 20 times like him and how long will it take me to reach that strenght?


Currently i dont have weights but will buy some if needed, I do have a chin-up bar...maybe that helps?

being 20 and beating 14 year olds in arm wrestling isint much...as for lifting 90lbs, who cares. Read the forums, eat a lot of calories & protien. Workout 3 times a week with 3 sets of 8...you should be set.
 
Buy some weights. Set some goals. Work towards them. Reach them. Set new goals. Beat yourself, not the other person.

Keep in mind that just because you get stronger doesn't mean you'll beat someone who is not as strong as you in arm wrestling. Not to mention, be careful, arm wrestling can screw some stuff up...a lil' arm wrestling bet put me out for a couple of weeks.
 
Tell me bout it....i totally pushed my self to the limits...and now the opposite side of my elbow hurts...

i mustve hurt a muscle arm wresttling or something..

The thing is i had gotten better and i went and tryed again and messed it up even worst -_- stupid me, now i gotta give it atleast a week or 2 to get better

And this is why I don't arm wrestle anymore. Having to take weeks off training because I screwed myself up arm wrestling just isn't acceptable to me. Anyway, it's a personal choice. If you're going to arm wrestle, you'll have to accept that you're going to rip, tear, or just hurt yourself every once in awhile.

Besides, tapping someone out is much more satisfying than slamming someones hand down because my fibers twitch faster.;)

LMAO! I'd actually love to take a day off, watch Days of our Lives, and eat ice cream...and the tears would be tears of joy from being able to sit on my ass for a moment.:)
