Help! I need YOUR tips on losing weight! I'm NEW!

hey everyone I need help losing weight. this one of my first attempts at losing it all.

can you guys give me some tips? pointers? suggestions?

Watch what you eat and become more aware of your calorie intake. I personally count the calories I eat and try to keep them between 1100-1500/day. Along with eating healthier and in more frequent/smaller meals, make sure to exercise.

I've discovered that there are really no gimmicks when it comes to weight loss...it's a matter of becoming healthy and doing it in a natural way.

Feel free to read through my diary to see what steps I'm doing... I'm sure you'll find lots of ideas from reading through people's journals/diaries. :)

With that said... welcome and good luck! You already took the right first step by coming here and asking for suggestions.
 
Here's the only one you'll need to start out.

Read the stickie threads found at the tops of the various subforums. You'll find all that you need plus some.

They're there for a reason.

And that reason is for vague, general, novice questions like there. There's nothing wrong with these questions. But we've developed a system that works optimally for you if you use it.
